Suggestion: Torrents

Maybe we should start looking at using torrent. It should help with the bandwidth and server spaces. also ppls always request old file. with torrent we just need someone to seed it, instead of having to upload the file over and over again.

Thực ra file truyện cũng nhẹ. Dùng mediafire hay rapidshare cũng download thoải mái, download đọc không kịp ý chứ.

Torrent chỉ thể hiện được mặt mạnh của nó với những file lớn, hoặc file quá nhiều người download thôi. Emule thì chậm quá. Ngồi down được vài MB truyện chờ queue nửa tiếng oải lắm.

TTV have no problems with bandwith. Even though is best to use torrent as a files transfer, but most members don't use torrent. So mediafire or megaupload will do for now.

Even know most of the stuff we do doesn't take alot of spaces, but if you think about it. 10 megabytes here 10 there. Eventually it will add up.

Also because torrent is P2P. Therefore each individual PC is protected differently. This will eliminate the network wide failure during an attack.

we just have to restructure the site into 2 spererate area. One side for the message forum, the other for the torrent.

TTV's files are almost uploaded on FREE hosting server such as mediafire, skydrive, megaupload... :02(1):

I think torrent is a really good idea, but it maybe not so necessary for TTV.
